Our free antivirus app for Android devices has received another stellar review. The independent, non-profit group AV-Comparatives praised Sophos Mobile Security version 3.0 in its August 2013 Mobile Security Review, calling it a comprehensive security suite that is “mature and well-balanced.”
We feel really good about what we’ve done with Sophos Mobile Security in our latest release, and AV-Comparatives agrees.
According to the AV-Comparatives report, Sophos Mobile Security has “all the important components of a modern security product,” and noted that the app has “made a quantum leap” since the previous version.
In version 3.0, we added a number of new features including web protection against phishing and malicious websites, password protection for applications, and faster scanning.
“The mini-app has developed into a comprehensive security suite, which impressed us in terms of both optical design and functionality,” AV-Comparatives says.
Sophos Mobile Security also received high marks from AV-Test in its latest round of testing.
You can download the free app at the Google Play Store.
