Sophos is gaining ground in North America, so we’re expanding our technical support center in Ottawa to better help our customers across the region. Sophos is also helping to grow the cybersecurity workforce in Canada with new investment in education and training.
We’re investing in a new career-program partnership with Willis College in Canada’s capital city, as part of our ongoing effort to address the industry-wide skills gap and train new talent to meet the growing demand for cybersecurity workers.
Building upon OECD job creation best practices, we’re working with Willis College to establish a new network security training lab at their Ottawa campus, in addition to supporting program direction, technical curriculum development and training assistance.

We expect to almost double the size of our support center in Ottawa over the next six months as we expand operations to support a fast-growing customer base in North America.
The Ottawa center is one of two support facilities we operate in Canada, along with our support and SophosLabs research facility, based in Vancouver since 2003. We’ve also operated a sales office in Toronto since 2007.
