As Astaro Report Manager is not supported with Version 8, ARM will be end-of-sale at the end of 2010. In researching how ARM is deployed and which features are used, we are hard at work in offering its functionality both within the ASG itself and in the Astaro Command Center. Beginning with ASG 8.20 (which will be released in the first half of 2011) we will re-design the Web Security reporting of ASG with many next-generation features. Customers can look forward to building their own customized reports, saving them for future reference, and subscribing users to them via email distribution lists. The reporting itself will also undergo significant changes, offering a new navigation with reactive filtering which can be used to view data in many new ways by clicking through reports using data paths which change dynamically as you navigate. Enhanced reporting per-user, reporting by department and category, and other reports like search engine activity are all in development.

For aggregated reports, the Astaro Command Center (ACC) offered Network, Web, and Mail Security reporting across multiple connected sites beginning in ACC 2.1, and more enhancements were introduced in ACC 2.2 during the summer. Our developers are hard at work to deliver even more centralized reporting options for future versions; more announcements will follow on what is to come in ACC 3.0.

As mentioned, support will continue for ARM with V7 installations throughout 2011 until the end of the year, at which point ARM will be end-of-support. We are excited to unveil all the new reporting features we are working on soon, stay tuned!
